Shredding whilst sick.

Ok, so I have a shocking cold. Apologies to Darragh who was kept up all night thanks to my snoring due to the sickness. Not fun.

Today I went up and shredded Northstar again. Landed a couple of new tricks so I was happy.

I pulled Matty to the lift -

The A Team -

Timmy had the raddest lunch, it was kinda like pulled pork and sald in a giant corn chip. Yum!

The Red Bull Butter Cup was on, it was a pretty crappy comp though. Heres some pics.

Too many photographers hanging around the features makes for bad spectator viewing....

Springtime and Boreal and Truckee time.

Went up to Northstar again yesterday for the 26th time. Spring time is well and truly here. Slushy snow and melting snow everywhere.

Melting snow view from the gondola -

Nosegrab!

I did a few runs as I took a big fall to the flat off one of the hips in the pipe. When I got home I noticed my toilet paper said this -

An extra layer to get the job done? I would hope it would just do its job and clean my butt!

That arvo I drove with Corey and a couple of his buddy's over to Boreal ski resort. Its small, but its open 9am-9pm with the park under lights. It was really fun. Heres some photo's.

The big guy -

I snowboard too fast for photo's.

That night I went out in Truckee with Corey and couple of other guys. Heres a dude pole dancing in the bar -

Didn't drink much but boy am I hungover today. Might go for a hot tub later and get back on the shred tomorrow.

Jess Rich's 20th Birthday

Last night Darragh, Sean and I headed over to Squaw for a friend Jess's birthday. It was a bit of a weird party. Lots of random music, face painting, and fights.

This is Sean pre-going out, papa radman -

Driving there, I had to drive home though as the boys were drinking and I was sober -

Pretty much half this group wanted to fight each other for some reason...

Darragh and the birthday girl -

Thats radman there working his magic for the ladies -

There was a dog -

The party was pretty boring at this stage so Darragh and I made can/bottle towers on the dining room table -

Fun times. Off to shred Northstar again today, then hot tub again.

Char-pit burgers rule.

We went and got char-pit again the other day. It truly is burger heaven.

Updates

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Since I have been to New York my days have pretty much been: Wake up, eat, snowboard, eat, hot tub, sleep, repeat. Pretty boring, but I did hit some bigger jumps today. Fun.

Darragh's birthday

Ok, so I have no idea how I made it home. Here is some photo's from last night. Thanks to whoever took me home.

After that my night gets quite vague. I woke up this morning with $40 extra than I left with in my pocket and no idea how I got home.

St. Patties Day

We are going out to the stateline casino's tonight. Our outfits -

Im sure there are some more fun stories / photo's to come...

New York party times.

I went out with a friend from back home, James Stevens, on Monday night. It got pretty loose. He finished work early and we went to a bar called Marshall Stack, coolest wallpaper ever?

We then dinked one another on his bike to another bar for happy hour.

Then went to the Bowery Ballroom to see a few bands: The Postelles, The constellations, and Hockey.

Constellations -

The Postelles (awesome band and super nice guys).

The Bowery -

Hockey -

I went over the Brooklyn Bridge on my way home.

I was so hungover so I slept the majority of the next day. When I did get up I headed over to the Lower East Side to find the venue for the Andrew WK gig for that night. I went to a bar and had a burger with an amazing selection of bbq sauces.

I made friends with a few other guys in the bar who were also going to the gig. One of them was called Dean Martin, no shit. I met Dean Martin in New York.

The Fillmore is a pretty rad venue, lots of famous band have played here. I bumped into Sebastian Bach from Skid Row on these stairs. He said "whats up?", I said "whats up?". Wish I could have thought of something cooler to say.

The first two bands pictured here were incredibly crap.

The AWK came on and blew everyone away. Party time.

This is his wife!

For the last song they were pulling people on stage. I got up and partied hard.

This photo is so awesome.

An amazing night. I will leave this blog with one final thought / picture.
